How I Did It: A Fly Girl on the Jet, Roger that!

Fancy the glorious and glamorous life of an air hostess?? Turn off the reality show and think twice. Extremely Hectic schedule, tons of trifles and isolated working environment can drive many of us crazy and dizzy. But a professional fly girl knows how to keep bustle and beauty in great balance. PixyMindy interviews a Vancouver based flight attendant, Jenny, to serve the first-class info on air. Stay tuned!!
Party look after hectic work!
1.  What are your in-flight luggage essentials for working as a flight attendant?
My luggage carries my "whole life" basically. I have all my toiletries in travel size container which saves lots of space. Definitely have hair spray with me all the time. For my job, I have to wear tights/nylon which gets snagged very easily. However, if it's snagged a bit, you can spray hair spray over the hole which prevents ripping further. I always bring a pair of sneakers. I can use them to go to the gym or walk around to check out the city. And always have some nice outfits that I can wear if the crew wants to go out for dinner and definitely a pair of beautiful high pumps!

2. What’s your clubbing style after the hectic flight schedule?
It doesn't matter how tired I feel after a day of work. If I am going out that night, I always dress up and put on a pair of high heels. For clubbing style, if I want to dance, I would either wear jeans or shorts and a sexy top with heels. If I just want to lounge around, I would put on a dress or a skirt with sexy top. In the winter, I would wear my red leather jacket when walking around outside.

3. How to keep skin moist and smooth after hours of cabin humidity?
I don't use any products. To keep my skin moisture, I drink lots of water when I am flying. You are supposed to drink a big glass of water every hour when you are on the flight. If you drink coffee, you have to drink more than a glass of water each hour. Sometimes, if I get bored of drinking water, I would put a splash of lemon or cranberry juice in my water to get some flavor.

4. Your fashion icons are……?
My fashion icons are Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, Audrey Hepburn and Chanel director-Karl Lagerfeld’s design. I love Jennifer and SJK's style, because their styles are sexy and chic. As for Audrey, I love her classy and simple looks. Of course, Karl's designs are timeless, chic, and classy! And I love his runway shows, it's always very creative with a beautiful theme!

5. Tell us about your favourite cabin-crew uniform design.
My fav crew uniforms is the virgin America's uniform. It's designed by Banana Republic. I just love their jacket. It's a red trench coat!!!! And I love their pencil skirt!
Positive! Jenny. Fly safe and work hard!!
