Built by Fatma Semiz, essentially a civil engineer, FATIMA 1932 takes its name from her grandmother, who was born in 1932, Mesopotamia, and deceased at the age of 32; Therefore, FATIMA 1932 is ‘a love story.’

The freshly squeezed lemon orange juice and iced Tiramisu, sprinkled with rather bitter dark chocolate powders atop, fulfilled with smooth spongy fillings, definitely the perfect combo for the high season. The Indian-American lady who sits next to my table requesting chocolate blended icy drink, and states the flavor extremely mellow, rich and luxurious.  

Combining the Mesopotamian culture with the new modern, FATIMA 1932 is completely a concept project, also offers main course menu at Nişantaşı Istanbul. As Semiz indicates, with Chef Cem Erol’s contribution, wishfully that FATIMA 1932 in Turkey will stand still and tall as LADURÉE in France or Café Pushkin in Russia. The most special feature of FATIMA 1932 is that from rosy Turkish delights to club Turkey sandwiches are daily handmade rather factory fabricated. In addition, the freshly squeezed drinks or sweet treats do not contain any artificial colourings or glucose. Though from the price range of FATIMA 1932 might be rather higher comparing to the local living standards, despite the fact that, for some special occasion, ladies and gentlemen shall at least reward ourselves once for the Turkish adventure of taste buds.
